ORGANISERS are gearing up for the 51st Mathon Horse and Dog show on August 31.
The show will take place at Hollings Hill Farm, Cradley, to raise money for Mathon village causes, the County Air Ambulance, Riding for the Disabled and the Acorns Hospice Trust.
Last year, £2,900 was raised for these charities and organisers hope to top that at this year's event.
A horse show plus a gymkhana and horse and hound challenge will take place at 9.30am, followed by a fun dog show, with categories ranging from best family pet to best tit-bit catcher, at 1.30pm.
The event has moved from Burford Farm, Mathon, due to an increasing number of exhibitors.
Food and refreshments will be available and entry is free.
