HOLIDAY cottages could be built on a working farm in Pencombe.
David Legge from Shortwood Farm has applied for permission to build two three-bedroom and two two-bedroom log cabins on his land.
Members of the public have been visiting the farm for the past 15 years to get a hands-on feel for life as a farmer, including helping to milk cows, collect chicken eggs and feeding pigs.
"Quite a few folks who have come to the farm have said they would like to stay here," said Mr Legge, whose family have owned the farm for 100 years.
