VILLAGE SHOW - Once again the Eardisley Village Show will be held at Sheepcroft, Eardisley, by kind invitation of Mr and Mrs R Preece. Starting at 2pm, on Bank Holiday Monday, August 25, visitors will be able to enjoy the 'Doggy Dancers', vintage car/tractor display, dog/pet show, children's races, bouncy castle and various other attractions. There will be classes for Horticulture and domestic entries as well as those for children's activities. Schedules are obtainable at the Eardisley village shop and at the post office. Recent winners in the Eardisley show 200 Club draw were Mr M J Price, Mr M Matthews and Miss K Wolsey.

MILLENNIUM CASTLE GREEN - Mr Graham Doody, chairman of the Millennium Green Committee, has announced on behalf of the committee, that the new swings have been installed on the Green. Money to fund these swings came from the Robert Hitchin Homes (responsible for the abattoir site development) via the Herefordshire Council. The completed barbecue site is now available for anyone to use. In addition a picnic table has been donated in memory of Michael Tudge. At the bottom right hand corner of the Green a new bench has been installed in memory of the late Peter Preece who spent many years in Eardisley, and will be remembered by many local residents.
