PROLIFIC Luctonians 3rd batsman Wes Evans hammered a club record unbeaten 188 in the leaders' 161-run home win over Talgarth 2nd in the Flint & Cook Marches League Division 3.
Opening batsman Evans struck 23 fours and six sixes in his outstanding 121-ball knock which propelled the title-chasing Kingsland outfit to 393-4.
Evans shared an unbroken fifth-wicket stand of 202 in just 18 overs with his brother, Wayne, who weighed in with 93 not out.
Moccas' Colin Prothero was another centurion in Division 3, striking an excellent 118 as the villagers rattled up 293-3 in a 127-run home victory over struggling Crickhowell 2nd.
