LEOMINSTER ladies' captain Wendy Lawrenson showed a pleasing, if somewhat mischievous, sense of humour when she took her colleagues for a Captains' Day Out to Builth Wells.
Being the only left-hander in the party, she left a couple of left-handed clubs on the tee at the par-three 15th hole with specific instructions that everyone should use one of the clubs for their tee shot on that hole.
They all enjoyed trying the 'wrong way round' and a couple of ladies bagged a par on the hole.
