NORTH Hereford Hunt Pony Club member Jessica Lee from Canon Pyon is enjoying a roll of success, having won her last two Pony Club one-day events on her grey pony, Just Jasper.
At the beginning of this month, Jessica, who is 11, took part in the National Under-21 Dressage Championships at Addington Manor Equestrian Centre in Buckinghamshire.
Competing against riders from across the country - some 10 years her senior, she won both her under-21 classes, and also won the under-11's talent spotting with an impressive 84%.
Jessica, who is trained by Sally Newcombe at Brienton, rode five tests over the weekend, none of them under 69%, riding the seven-year-old chestnut pony, Carousel Charm.
Charm, who is owned by Carol Gould of Trellack Stud, has been trained by Jessica over the last year, and has shown a great talent for dressage. Jessica and Charm now go forward to the National Talent Spotting Finals in October.
