CHILDREN as young as eight years old were seen hurling stones at passing cars in Redhill, Hereford.
Damage was caused to the windscreen of one car, which was travelling on the A49 Ross Road at around 2.45pm on Monday, July 28. Police believe two young boys, one wearing a grey tracksuit, were responsible for the attacks and have issued a warning to the juvenile vandals.
"This is an extremely dangerous thing to do and could lead to serious harm being caused to people going about their business on the roads," said Mark Jones from the Hereford Crime Desk. "It can also lead to unnecessary damage being caused to vehicles and we are urging children doing this to stop immediately. Anyone caught throwing stones will be dealt with accordingly."
Anyone who saw the young boys is asked to call Mark Jones on 08457 444888.
