A CITY Tesco worker was assaulted while attempting to escort a man from the store last Saturday.
The incident occurred between the till area and foyer at the Bewell Street supermarket at 2.30pm and involved a man and members of staff.
The man was asked on several occasions to leave the store and when he refused a staff member tried to escort him from the premises. Anyone who witnessed the disturbance should contact PC Martin Carr at Hereford Police Station on 08457 444 888.
