Picklenash Junior School Fete last Saturday is being hailed as a great success, after an estimated 500 people took advantage of brilliant summer weather to visit the stalls.
The fete, organised by the PTA, added around £1,100 to school coffers, although the final figure is still to be determined.
The money will be used to buy equipment for the school, as the need arises.
Visitors to the fete were treated to stalls selling everything from books and toys to refreshments. There was a bouncy castle for youngsters.
