Hereford United captain Ian Wright faces a lengthy spell on the sidelines after suffering a double fracture to his left arm.
The Edgar Street favourite sustained the injury in freak circumstances when he was hit by a Greg Rioch free kick in the dying minutes of Hereford's 2-1 defeat to Northwich Victoria.
Wright's arm has been put in plaster with broken bones diagnosed in both his hand and arm.
