MICHAEL Rose has capped an impressive first season for Hereford United by being named in a Nationwide Conference XI.
The left-back was selected in a poll among Conference managers. Bulls' boss Turner has also had informal talks with a goalkeeper, which remains a priority position.
Meanwhile Turner believes competition changes to the Conference, announced at its annual meeting at the weekend, can work in United's favour. Clubs who enter administration will face a 12-point deduction.
It was also agreed to restrict player wages to 65 percent of turnover with those clubs failing to comply facing a £10,000 fine and three points knocked off their total.
"It might be a great leveller," said Turner who has had years of working on a shoes-string budget.
