A PEMBRIDGE agricultural worker who was airlifted to hospital after a horrific crash near Leominster died of his injuries over two weeks later.
Twenty-three-year-old Robert Watson died in Selly Oak Hospital, Birmingham, on Tuesday, June 10.
The Rev Jennifer Pollock, who will be conducting the funeral service, described Robert as 'a very lively, happy-go-lucky, good-natured lad who was generous to his friends - a really nice lad.'
Robert was driving a silver Ford Escort on the B4529 at Lawton Cross when it and a white Renault 19 were in collision at the A4110 junction around 6.15pm on May 24.
The driver of the Renault was treated for minor injuries along with two other passengers at Hereford County Hospital.
Emergency services attended the scene and the road was closed for four hours while traffic was diverted.
Police are keen to trace anyone who witnessed the collision or those who saw either vehicle. Contact PC Bob Conway at Hereford Police Station on 08457 444 888.
