VILLAGE LOTTERY -- On Saturday, June 14 the winning number was 11. Our lucky winners are Roger and Hazel Toll.
WHACKY WALKERS -- The next walk is on Saturday, June 21 and is a woodland walk in Haugh Woods following the 'Butterfly Trail'. In two sections, the first part on gravelled paths with no stiles and short easy gradients and just over a mile long. The second section has four stiles has longer gradients and is just less than two and a half miles long. Start time is 10.30am from the Woodland Car Park. Haugh Wood is located on the Mordiford to Woolhope road (turn left by the Moon Pub). The woodland car park is located about two miles up the road on the left hand side and is marked 'Poor Acre Car park'. June is said to be a good month for spotting woodland butterflies, we are reliably informed. Will those who wish to have lunch at The Moon Pub in Mordiford please contact Wyn or Jim Fisk on 01981 590234 as soon as possible.
