GARDEN FETE -- A full day out from 10.30 am until 5.30 pm at the Coopers, High Street, Leintwardine on Saturday, June 21. There are nine churches which make up the Wigmore Benefice. Most struggle one way or another to raise the funds to keep the churches repaired and pay the quota which is responsible for the running of the Diocese and the salaries and pensions to the clergy. The churches are there to supply support to anyone who needs it, be it funerals, weddings or baptisms. Your support is needed on Saturday, June 21 at The Coopers, High Street, Leintwardine. There is no entry fee. A wonderfully-restored fairground organ and a free bouncy castle are among the attractions with stalls of china, books and bric-a-brac. Lunches and teas are available and there will be a raffle. Each church will have a stall of its own and will be able to keep its own profits. Please come and help us keep our churches going.
