Colwall recorded a comfortable four-wicket away win over Bredon in the Stroud & Swindon Building Society West of England Premier League Glos/Wilts Division 1.
Fine early bowling from Pakistani Majid Majeed and Josh Hornyold helped to peg back the Gloucestershire side to 39 runs from the opening 17 overs.
The Bredon openers gradually got on top of the Colwall bowling, however, and it was not until Dave Sutton removed Young for 45 in the 27th over that the visitors claimed a wicket.
Opener Hall eventually departed for 69 and, with Sutton (5-43) and Majeed (2-48) claiming vital wickets, the home side eventually closed on 209-7 from 50 overs.
Majeed then gave Colwall's reply a brisk start, punishing anything short, until he mistimed a pull shot and was dismissed for a fine 58.
Dave Powell made 53 and former Hereford player Pete Butler hit a stylish unbeaten 41 which helped steer Colwall to a convincing victory with two overs remaining.
