IT was 30 years ago that Pat and Michael Morris, of Hereford, adopted their first baby from Vietnam - and two years later completed the family with a baby boy, Jonathan.
Pat, Michael and Jonathan have just returned from a visit to his homeland, reviving memories of a moving story.
Jonathan had been brought out on a mercy flight funded by the Daily Mail in 1975 and returned, with other orphans, to Vietnam in 1996 courtesy of the Mail.
They visited some orphanages and saw much else of interest in their former country. Two years on and Jonathan was back there again.
Now, after their latest trip to Vietnam, Pat and Michael are to share their experiences of that beautiful country, including the wonderful work of Project Return that supports families and orphanages.
Their fascinating illustrated story will be told at a wine and cheese evening at All Saints Church, Hereford, on Thursday, June 26, at 7.30 pm. Tickets are £3 and are available from All Saints or from Pat on 01432 342739.
