WITH one more goal to go in moving to a new ground, a Hereford football club needed support from planners.
And Westfields FC got that support with the go-ahead for parking provision to complete its move to Widemarsh Common.
Councillor Chris Chappell (Lab/Hinton) urged the central area planning sub-committee to say 'yes', citing the club's record in the community.
Councillor Polly Andrews (Lib Dem/Holmer) said the community around the Common still resented the loss of open space to a 'private football club' and awaited the arrival of more traffic with 'utter horror'.
