A PUBLIC meeting to discuss the fire at the Seven Stars will help "debrief" the public on the lessons learned from the blaze.
That is the hope of the event's organiser Spencer Lane.
The date of the meeting is yet to be fixed but it is likely to take place in the Market House before a town council meeting.
Fire chiefs will be invited to attend, to give an account of the operation and answer any questions.
Coun Lane strongly praised the fire brigade for the way it dealt with the severe blaze in the historic half-timbered building.
Referring to the purpose of the meeting, he said: "The fire brigade have had their debriefing. We now need a town debriefing.
"It's just to be reassured that we have adequate cover and will continue to have adequate cover. Ledbury is an exceptional town.
"It only seems right that people can have their questions answered after the event."
