A former Ledbury licensee has appeared before a Worcester Crown Court judge charged with burning down the pub she ran.
Janet Kaye, aged 47, denied arson at the Seven Stars in The Homend while being reckless whether life was endangered.
The 16th Century pub was destroyed on Sunday, July 22, and fire spread to neighbouring buildings.
The case was adjourned for a trial lasting up to four days at a date to be fixed.
Judge Anthony King bailed Kaye to an address in Lancashire, where she is now living.
