Ross Town Ladies 1 Bath City Ladies 1
YOUNGSTER Jade Powell salvaged a point for Ross in this South West Women's League Premier Division clash.
Powell pounced in the 89th minute, powering a left-foot shot through a crowd of players to cancel out Bath's 18th-minute strike.
Ross, who lacked their normal cohesion, fell behind despite a fine block by goalkeeper and captain Heidi Venables.
The Ross defence battled hard to keep out Bath in the opening half but the Herefordshire club pressed forward after the interval with Venables switching to a midfield position.
Ross threw everyone forward in the last 10 minutes, battering a stubborn Bath back-line, and finally broke through after a Gemma Wadley corner caused panic in the Avon club's defence.
