GRAHAM Turner will remain as Director of Football at Edgar Street despite quitting as team boss of Hereford United.
Player/coach Phil Robinson will continue as replacement in a caretaker capacity, but director Joan Fennessy said there were no plans to bring in a new manager.
Hereford's directors held a board meeting yesterday and are due to meet Herefordshire Council leader Terry James later today to discuss the future of the club.
"The board accepted with regret Graham Turner's decision to relinquish involvement with the team," said a club statement. "However we are delighted that he will remain as Director of Football."
Fennessy said the future of the club at the Edgar Street site was still very much in the air.
"It could go either way in terms of whether we stay or move," she said.
Robinson, who made a winning start on Tuesday when Hereford defeated Farnborough 4-2, takes the first team to Leigh RMI tomorrow night.
