Hereford Colts suffered a 17-12 defeat against county rivals Luctonians Colts at Mortimer Park.
Hereford scrum-half Billy Grisman gave the city club a 5-0 interval lead but the home side had more possession after the break, scoring tries from J Meldrum (2) and Darren Gillespie, plus a C Condliffe conversion, to go 17-5 ahead.
Hereford eventually got their act together and a 75th-minute Joe Tilley try was converted by Gary Preece, but Luctonians defended their slender advantage.
