Ledbury 23 pts Dunlop 7
NEWLY-promoted Ledbury ran in three tries to successfully open their Midlands 4 West (South) account.
The reigning North Midlands 1 champions started slowly but Ollie Kaye used his pace to score the first try.
Good, quick ball was whipped out to Kaye who rounded a Dunlop winger and sprinted 35 yards to touch down.
Ledbury converted a penalty attempt to extend their lead in an ugly first half marred by both number sevens being sent to the sin bin.
Despite playing up the hill in the second half, Ledbury's strong drives and solid lineout work put Dunlop on the back foot.
The experienced Chris Kitchen scored after an impressive driving maul and Nick Bevan crashed over underneath the visitors' posts.
Ledbury relaxed in the last five minutes and although Dunlop managed a converted try, it was merely a consolation.
