HARVEST FESTIVAL -- This will be celebrated at Gorsley Chapel on Sunday at 11am and 6.30pm. Gifts of produce will be gladly received on Saturday morning. The flowers, fruit, vegetables and other goods will be taken to St Michael's Hospice after the services. It is hoped children will bring their gifts during the Sunday morning service.
DISCO -- Gorsley village hall management committee is holding a disco on Saturday from 8pm until 11pm. There will be discs from the past five decades with Pete Kings. Nibbles are included in the entrance fee of £3.50 and tickets are available from Gorsley Post Office and Stores. There will also be a bar and raffle.
COFFEE MORNING -- The present series of monthly coffee mornings will continue on Saturday morning from 10.30am until 12noon. All are welcome to come along to the village hall and enjoy coffee and chat in a pleasant atmosphere with neighbours and friends. There will be no further coffee mornings until after Christmas.
HISTORY GROUP -- Gorsley and Kilcot Millennium committee has arranged a talk by David Bick on researching the history of local buildings. This is the inaugural meeting of the group and it is hoped it will be of interest to all residents in the neighbourhood. It will be held tonight at 7.30pm in the village hall. Entry is free, including a glass of wine and nibbles. Tickets are available from Gorsley Post Office and Stores.
