THERE will be a rare opportunity to take part in 'a pinnacle of renaissance polyphony' in Leominster Priory on Saturday, October 20, when there will be a singing workshop followed by a performance of Thomas Tallis' 40-part motet, 'Spem in Alium'.
Singers with sight-reading ability are invited to join forces for the day with the Halcyon Singers and Cradley Singers to rehearse and perform the piece under the direction of their conductors Nick Spencer and Stefan Scott.
"'Spem in Alium' has an almost guaranteed tingle-factor, and actually to take part, in the marvellous acoustic of Leominster Priory, should be a stunning experience," says Nick.
