THERE was music, song and dancing in Bromyard as the town swung to the sounds of its 34th folk festival over the weekend.
Festivities took on an extra fervour this year as more than 50 events, once threatened by foot and mouth, went ahead as planned.
The weekend of concerts, ceilidhs, singarounds and stories was well supported, with the town's traders enjoying a boost in sales and visitors arriving from far and wide.
One of the most popular events for children was Jan's Blackboard Van, a mobile activity centre for chalk drawing, folk music and make believe.
Meanwhile adults could groove along with the City Slickers, join in with MCK Peat's late night song or even learn to play the fiddle.
