Hereford United are hoping for a double strike boost ahead of tomorrow's FA Cup fourth qualifying round tie at Nationwide Conference rivals Woking (3pm).
Steve Piearce came through a midweek reserve outing following his back problem, scoring in the 2-0 victory over Kidderminster.
Kerry Giddings also returned to action against Kidderminster following a kidney infection.
One of the pair will step into the starting line-up to replace Gavin Williams, who is ruled out by a one-match suspension incurred for his sending-off in the recent home clash with Nationwide Conference leaders Yeovil.
Rob Elmes, whose appearance as a half-time substitute transformed last week's home clash with Dover -- he scored twice in the 4-2 win -- is almost certain to start.
Veteran Jimmy Quinn is also ruled out through suspension and recent signing Jimmy Quiggin is cup-tied, having appeared in an earlier round for Boldmere St Michael's.
Winger Paul Parry, who shot to prominence during Hereford's memorable Cup run last year, is also out tomorrow because of an ankle injury.
But player-coach Phil Robinson and midfielder Ian Rodgerson should both have shaken off knocks picked up in the Dover clash. Defender Tony James, another half-time substitute last week, could also stake a claim for a return to the starting line-up.
Hereford should start favourites as they bid to emulate last year's Cup success, when they beat two Football League sides and were only knocked out by Premiership side Leicester City after extra time in a replay.
They are also conscious of the financial benefits another Cup run could bring to the cash-strapped club.
Director of Football Graham Turner said: "We enjoyed a tremendous run last year in the Cup, and it would be nice to get somewhere near emulating that.
"But to get to the glamorous ties you have to get through the awkward ones, and this will certainly be a tricky tie for us.

Hereford won 3-0 at Woking in the league last month, courtesy of goals from Williams, Chris Lane and Rodgerson.
But Turner says tomorrow's game will be a different kettle of fish. He acknowledged: "They are an improved side since we went down there, and they had a good win against Forest Green last week.
"I think we can forget all about that league game -- they will be far tougher opposition this time and it is the FA Cup."
It's not the first time the two sides have met in the Cup.
Back in 1991-92 they met in the third round, with a 0-0 draw at Kingfield followed by a 2-1 extra-time win for the Bulls at Edgar Street in the replay, thanks to goals from Jon Narbett and Simon Brain.
If required, a replay would be at Edgar Street next Tuesday (7.45).
