Hereford United Director of Football Graham Turner says he will not stand in the way of Steve Bull's management ambitions.
Bull, who has been helping out Hereford in a voluntary coaching capacity this season, has been linked with the manager's job at his old club Wolves following the sacking of Colin Lee earlier this week.
The former goalscoring legend and Molineux favourite is expected to face stiff competition from the likes of Dave Bassett, Kenny Hibbitt, John Ward and Ray Graydon.
But Turner, a former Wolves boss himself, said: "We have no holds on him.
"He has come in and is gaining valuable experience helping us out in training and on matchdays when his Wolves commitments allow. It is all part of the learning process."
He declined to be drawn on Bull's chances of getting the Wolves job. "I have no idea what is in their minds. I wouldn't like to hazard a guess what will happen."
