HEREFORD United's Director of Football Graham Turner has released three players.
Defenders Paul Sturgess and Matt Gardiner and striker Kerry Giddings have not been offered new deals. Sturgess has already been snapped up by Stevenage Borough.
Turner said: "We need to bring in one or two fresh faces, so we are making room for one or two to come in."
United have offered new deals to seven players who were out of contract. Defender Matt Clarke is poised to sign a new deal today, while Turner plans further talks with skipper Ian Wright and young winger John Shirley tomorrow.
The others are midfielders Ian Rodgerson, John Snape and Jimmy Quiggin, and goalkeeper Matt Baker.
Turner added: "I am confident that the important people we need to keep for next season will still be with us."
The United boss revealed he has spoken this week with three potential new signings.
