Hereford United's FA Cup hero Leroy May looks set to miss their Nationwide Macmillan Trophy second round tie at Yeovil Town tonight (7.45).
May, who scored the winner as United beat York City and also found the net in Saturday's 2-1 Conference defeat at Altrincham, suffered a thigh injury during the game.
Defender Paul Sturgess is also likely to miss out after injuring his Achilles tendon at Altrincham.
Midfield man John Snape is also an injury concern after twisting a knee, but Director of Football Graham Turner expects him to be fit.
The injuries mean that defender Chris Lane, midfielder Craig Hanson and front man James Wall all come into contention for places in the starting line-up. Strikers Paul Fewings and Rob Elmes are still not ready to return following injuries.
Turner had contemplated juggling his resources for the game at Huish Park, although he said: "One or two sides have done that in this competition, but we would like to win the game, especially to put one or two things right from Saturday."
Turner was not happy at the performance at Altrincham, when the defeat cost them the chance of moving into fifth place -- they are now ninth, 11 points adrift of new leaders Kingstonian.
He said: "I felt we did reasonably well in the first half and could have had more than the single goal.
"But in the second half we dropped right off, they upped their game and we never responded to it."
