Bromyard'S young side gave an impressive display of controlled passing football to win this Express & Star Premier Division match at Bustleholme by 7-1.
BUSTLEHOLME 1, BROMYARD TOWN 7
After an early goal line clearance by the home side, play went down the Bromyard goal end, and from a throw in, Bustleholme headed across the crowded goal mouth for an unmarked player to tap in.
This seemed to spur Bromyard and on 15 minutes, a foul on Chris Billings gave a free kick, which was headed across by Luke Willetts to Scott Morris, who then beat their defender to score and equalise.
After 20 minutes, a quick throw out from keeper led to some neat one-touch football for Luke Willetts to score his first of the day.
Just before the break, Luke Willetts beat their defence once again, and was brought down in the box. Rik Halion calmly put away the spot kick, sending their keeper the wrong way.
Early in the second half, a near perfect pass from Rik Halion put Willetts through again to score his second. After a run down the left wing, Andy Chalmers centred for Willetts to score his hat-trick.
Another throw out from keeper Lambert to Scott Pinches went through to Rik Halion who raced through the centre of their defence and then passed unselfishly to an unmarked Lee Seldon to score Bromyard's sixth.
The scoring was completed when again Willetts took the ball off a defender and went on to grab his fourth.
An outstanding performance from the whole team, with again the defence with Adam Davies, David Phillips, Richard Silk and Chris Billings holding strong.
Bromyard are home to Harrow Hill in the FA Vase Competition tomorrow (Saturday).
