GOVERNMENT minister Elliott Morley will be visiting a farm near Ledbury on Monday (September 24) to mark the first day of the apple harvest.

Mr Morley, the Minister for the Department of the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, will be at Castle Farm, Yarkhill, to announce a new initiative to help apple growers convert to organic production.

He will then visit Bulmers in Hereford to seen how apples are made into cider.
