SPEED LIMIT -- A speed-monitoring exercise by the traffic department of Herefordshire Council, showed that the speed limit through the village was being consistently ignored by drivers, and West Mercia Police have been informed of the potentially-dangerous situation. The council is writing to the highway authority asking that improved measures be taken to indicate the speed limit, and is also asking the police what action would be taken.
