THE ROSS-ON-WYE illuminations will be an unexpected treat for shoppers this Christmas.
The Chamber of Trade plans to light up the entire town centre with twinkling trees strung with lights.
The planned show follows a decision to dump 90 per cent of the old lights as the result of an electrician's inspection.
The Chamber is hoping to fill every bracket with a tree and is offering a 'Christmas cracker' to the person who guesses how many trees are planned.
