Brinton Athletic 3 Hinton 2
A LATE goal sent Hinton crashing to defeat in this tight West Midlands League Division 1 clash.
Brinton scored their crucial third goal in the 86th minute, which left Hinton little chance of finding an equaliser.
Hinton, however, started well, gaining the lead through Mitch Davidson's header after a Darren Prew inswinging corner on 10 minutes, only for Brinton to pull level a few minutes later.
Darren Braithwaite and Luke Semple combined well for captain Darren Birch to restore Hinton's advantage with a clinical finish after the interval, but Brinton fought back.
With a strong wind at their backs, the home side surged forward and scored twice to secure victory.
