Ross Town 1 Ardley United 1
ROSS collected a point from this hard-fought clash in the Cherry Red Records Hellenic League Division 1 West.
Ardley, however, had the better of the play and will count themselves unlucky not have secured an away win.
Ross looked lethargic at times but took the lead after just six minutes when top-scorer David Parker latched on to a long ball from Kevin Horsfall and chipped the advancing Ardley goalkeeper from 20 yards.
Parker almost scored again but the visitors struck back to equalise on 27 minutes when Richard Gardiner headed home from close range.
Ross goalkeeper Adam Brereton pulled off a magnificent point-blank save while Stuart Parker and Gardiner went close for the hosts as both sides had chances to win the game.
