BROMYARD and District Garden Club held its annual autumn show in the Clive Richards function suite last weekend at the the town's leisure centre.
The show went without hitch as 25 competitors battled it out for eight cups with their vegetable and flower displays.
Referring to the possible conversion of the function suite into the town library, show manager David Rex said: "We are hoping that it won't be the last time that we hold the show in the leisure centre."
The main winners were: Phil Jones (Bob Hartwright Cup, classes 1-22); Phil Jones (Red Lea Memorial Trophy, class 22); Tom Churchhill (J O Bexon Cup, specimen flowers); June Paske (Floral Art Cup, flower arrangements); Jennifer Jarman (Mary Parker Tankard, fruit classes); Judith Evans (Crosskey Trophy, domestic classes); J Hemsley (Woodward Cup, best exhibit classes 1-22/31-35). The Top Tray Competition was won by Bob Oliver, with Phil Jones second and Tom Churchill third.
