A FIREWORK display will mark the grand opening of Stoke Lacy's new village hall on Saturday, September 29.
Stoke Lacy-based firm Dragonfire have offered fireworks for the display, which will take place in the village at 9pm.
At 3pm the hall will be officially opened by one of the village's oldest residents, Madge Hooper, who has also been a firm supporter of the hall, holding a successful plant sale to raise money for the project.
A ceilidh is being held at the hall in the evening, starting at 7.30pm, with a break for food and to enjoy the fireworks.
The hall, built using a £173,000 grant from the Lottery Community Fund, was completed in May, but the opening was postponed due to foot and mouth crisis. All are welcome to attend.
