IT was double cup winner Phil Jones that stole the day at Bromyard and District Garden Club Show on Saturday.
He picked up the highest number of points in the vegetable classes and had the best collection of vegetables overall, winning him the coveted Bob Hartwright Cup and the Fred Lea Memorial Trophy.
Also winners at the annual show, held at Bromyard Leisure Centre, were husband and wife Ron and Sylvia Jeffrey (pictured left) who won first prizes in the flower classes.
They are pictured with prize-winners David Rex and Gill Robinson.
Trophy winners included: Tom Churchill, who won the JO Bexon Cup for specimen flowers; June Paske, who received the Floral Art Cup; Jennifer Jarman for the Mary Parker Tankard for fruit; Judith Evans for the Crosskey Trophy in the domestic classes; and J Hemsley who carried off the Woodward Cup for the best exhibit.
The Top Tray competition was won by Bob Oliver, in second place was Phil Jones and third was Tom Churchill.
