THE Women's British Table Tennis League, the most prestigious event for women players in the English Table Tennis calendar, will break new ground over the weekend of September 22-23 when they visit Hereford Leisure Centre.
The event now embarking on its 14th season has attracted entries from as far afield as Horsham, Slough, Plymouth, Leeds, Hull, Darlington and Norwich as well as Ireland and Scotland with the ultimate prize a place in next season's European competition.
A team event for teams of three players the competition is played on a league basis over five sessions from 10.30am to 6.30pm (approx.) on the Saturday and 9.30am to 3.30pm (approx.) on the Sunday providing near continuous play on 16 tables.
