Kington Town 1
Brierley Hill 2
KINGTON'S stand-in goalkeeper Daffyd Roberts was red carded in this West Midlands League Premier Division defeat.
Roberts was sent-off in the 80th minute after handling the ball outside his penalty area.
Kington were already trailing 2-1 at the time of Roberts' dismissal, after which Danny Moon went in goal, and could not find a way through the visitors' defence for the equaliser.
Kington, without striker Danny Hill, fell behind to a good individual goal in the 20th minute and had a further setback on the hour when Roy Jordan could only divert the ball into his own net.
Midfielder John Jenkins gave Kington hope, heading in a superb cross from Carl Morgan, but they were rocked minutes later when Roberts was given his marching orders.
