Woodstock Town 1
Ross Town 2
ROSS Town grabbed two late goals in a hard-fought win over Woodstock Town in Hellenic League Division 1 West.
Billy Davis and substitute Richard Gunn both found the net to earn Ross an impressive away triumph.
After a goalless first half, in which Billy Davis almost gave Ross the lead, the Oxfordshire club applied early pressure in the second period and were rewarded with the opening goal in the 55th minute.
Ross, however, responded well and deservedly drew level on 74 minutes when the speedy Davis slotted in the equaliser with a left-foot shot from 12 yards out.
Town then took the game to their opponents and Davis' superb cross to the far post found Gunn whose header bounced over the stranded Woodstock goalkeeper and into the net.
