THE secrets of a Hay-on-Wye rag rug maker whose creations have turned the heads of royalty are about to be uncovered.
Jenni Stuart-Anderson will be demonstrating her colourful art at Rogues Gallery on Sunday - it is unlikely the Earl and Countess of Wessex, admirers at The Three Counties Show last month, will attend.
The event is the first of a series to be held at the Broad Street gallery where a host of new artists have been welcomed.
Papier mache maker Jane Tudge will host a course on September 23. She is also taking requests for a workshop in 'Living Tao Tai Ji Form' and Chinese calligraphy.
Jenni will hold a second rag rug day on November 11.
Also new at the gallery is garden and kitchen ceramist Russell Crain, textile designer Eileen McDonald, animal and flower artist Rhian Symes and Denis Mills who paints on saws.
Anyone interested in Jane Tudge's workshops may give her a call on 01568 750229.
