A WOMAN is in a stable condition at Selly Oak Hospital in Birmingham after a crash on the Worcester to Bromyard road.
The accident happened on the A44 at Knightwick at lunchtime on Monday.
Carole Cooper, from Worcester, was the passenger in a red Peugeot 205 which was in collision with a tree while travelling towards Bromyard.
She was airlifted to hospital with head injuries. Two other passengers suffered lesser injuries and the driver was not harmed.
The accident was one of several over the Bank Holiday weekend.
A Peugeot 206 and a Ford Mondeo were in collision on the A44 at Bredenbury, near Bromyard, at 12.30pm on Monday.
Two men were trapped and were cut free by firefighters. One had a fractured arm and was flown to Selly Oak.
Motorcyclist Craig Kinngar, from Welland, near Malvern, suffered multiple injuries on Wednesday and was taken to at Hereford County Hospital after his Triumph 950cc was in collision with a black Citroen car.
The accident happened at about 10am on Monday, on the A417 at Hope-under-Dinmore in Herefordshire.
