AROUND 100 players and their partners turned out to celebrate a successful year for Ledbury Football Club.
The first team won the HFA Charity Bowl, were losing finalists in the League Cup and finished third in the league.
The Reserves won the Ross A Cup and reached three other cup semi-finals, while the ladies won the league and were runners-up in the League Cup.
Ledbury Town Ladies captain Nina Emery had five trophies to award and a special surprise for the whole team - their league winners medals.
Her other awards went to: Margo Lewis - Players' Player; Ali Lakin - Manager's Player; Lorna Skyers - Manager's Team Player; Hayley Presley - Most Improved Player; and the Golden Boot for most goals scored in the league to Margo Lewis.
Manager John Lancett had a special award for Sam Skyers, who has coached the team since it started but is moving on next season.
Men's 1st XI manager Steve Emery announced that he would be continuing next season.
Reserves manager Leon Roberts is stepping down to concentrate on playing with Sam Skyers taking over as manager.
Men's awards were given to: Ian Foreshaw - 1st team Players' Player; Nicky Welch - 1st team Most Improved Player; Nicky Stockley - 1st team Young Player; Lee Clueit - reserve team Players' Player; Darren Tomkins - reserve's Most Improved Player.
Sally Preedy was named Club Person of the Year.
Two new teams next season will be a Sunday morning side in the Malvern Sterling Classic League and a youth side on Sunday afternoons in the Sterling Classic.
The annual meeting will be on Friday, June 9, starting at 8pm at the club.
