Leominster LETTS will be in action at the town's library on Saturday.
The Local Exchange Trading System is a way for individuals, community groups and small businesses to exchange goods and services without the need for money.
Instead members offer skills, knowledge or the loan of equipment in exchange for local currency, or LUGGS. This currency can be used to purchase things from other members, covering a wide range, from accountancy work, vegetables, ironing or a trip on a canal boat.
Leominster group member Kyrle Boardman said many such local systems were working well throughout the country.
"Everyone has some skills to offer. It is not difficult earning local currency,'' she said.
Leominster LETTS will be displaying some of their offers in the library foyer from 9.30am onwards and all are welcome.
