LEOMINSTER Festival, which begins in earnest tomorrow, June 2, has added two new venues to its list.

Bridge Street Park and Euphoria Night Club, in South Street, will both be hosting festival events for the first time.

Popular local band 'The Roaring Forties' will be bringing their blend of sweet soul music to Bridge Street Park tomorrow. On Saturday, beer connoisseurs will be able to try out brews, both local and from farther afield.

Travel writer Nicholas Crane will be coming to Bridge Street Park on Wednesday with his lecture 'Clear Waters Rising: A Mountain Walk Across Europe', which has received rave reviews already from a wide range of audiences.

And on the same night, Presteigne band 'Hoover The Dog' will be showing off their lively mix of Celtic-based music and original compositions at Euphoria Night Club.

Full details of these and all the other festival events are available from the box office in Buttercross Arcade.
