COUNCILLORS are to take a close look at an area intended for expansion by one of Herefordshire's most successful schools.
St Mary's RC High School wants listed Lugwardine Court as a new sixth form centre.
But pensioners living nearby say such a move would bring the school right up against their boundaries, threatening peace of mind and possibly safety.
The decision lies with the county council's central area planning sub-committee.
Members voted last week to visit the expansion site before making their recommendation.
