A GENEROUS donation from a late Hereford United supporter has ensured that Edgar Street will have a brand new electronic scoreboard in time for the new season.

Long-time United supporter Anthony Tindall, who lived in Hereford, left the money in a bequest with specific instructions for use of the cash.

The Bulls have already ordered the scoreboard and aim to have it fully installed at the Blackfriars end of the ground by the end of July.

Match day ticket prices have been announced for the new season, with adults up £1 to £8 on the terraces and £10 for seating, while pensioners' prices remain at £4 for standing and £7 for seating.

Children's prices are also frozen at £3 for standing, £7 for seating or £4 for seating in the Junior Bulls area, Block A.

All these prices are subject to a £1 increase if, and during any time, the Bulls make it into the top three of the Nationwide Conference.

Season tickets are also on sale, with adult prices at £170 for the Merton or Len Weston stands (£106 for concessions) and £128 for adult ground admission (£59 for concessions).

Other deals are available and anyone who wants more details should contact the club on 01432 276666.

Other Conference clubs have also released their match day prices, including Rushden & Diamonds (adults £7.50 standing, £8.50 seating), Doncaster Rovers (adults £8 standing, £10 seating) and Dagenham & Redbridge (adults £8 standing, £10 seating).
