Herefordshire seniors had mixed fortunes as they followed a 5-2 home victory against Brockhampton with a 7- defeat at Ross-on-Wye.
n M Privett lifted the men's Millennium Trophy at Hereford Municipal GC with a score of 85-12-73, while P Evans won the 15-28 section with 88-20-68.
Results, public courses championship stableford, 0-12: 1 M Privett 32 points; 13-18: 1 D Barrett 37; 19-28: 1 D Morgan 38.

Christine Anning was confirmed as the new ladies' captain at the annual meeting, taking over from Pam Williams.
Club professional Garry Morgan, with help from the retiring captain, presented the trophies for the completed season. Summer League: winner Lesley Turbutt, runner-up Chris Anning; Summer Knock-out: winner Chris Anning, runner-up Wendy Lane; Winter League: winner Pam Williams, runner-up Lesley Turbutt; Winter Knockout: winner Sharon Helps, runner-up Averil Magee; September Pend-ant: Sharon Helps, who also won the bronze medal.
